Pale salmon pink in a sexy bottle that has curves to rival a pin up model. With nothing to go on regarding the label, I think Chateau Minuty were looking to produce a wine that spoke for itself, and it does.
A gorgeous nose of strawberries and toffee bonbons, although don't let that put you off by thinking this a sweet wine. Made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Tiboren the palate is dry with a refreshing citrus twang. A good rosé to get white wine drinkers to try.

Today there was a solar eclipse (which I did not manage to see) however, it was also the start of the astronomical season. That is to say that from now on the daytime is longer than the night.. huzzah! and it really did feel like the first day of spring.
The sun was out and I felt actual heat, so what better way to celebrate than with that most summery of wines, rose.
This pale salmon looking rose, smelt like strawberry bonbons and lemonade and tasted like it to. With a perfect amount of slight fizz, this sweet wine (made from Muscat grapes) is very easy drinking although the taste does leave the palate quickly and it feels pretty thin.
Definitely not a serious wine and only for those with a sweet tooth, but if that's you then this is a great choice to enjoy with friends at a (hopefully) sunny summer picnic in the park, as the lower alcohol means you (again hopefully...) won't get too tipsy!
Rating - Definitely worth scraping your pennies together
